After you book, we provide a planning sheet that collects color preferences, placement priorities and music cues; this organizational step helps the DJ coordinate lighting with announcements and timing without surprising the venue or guests.
Choosing colors and mood
Color choice is the primary way uplighting changes room mood; soft ambers and lavenders feel different than saturated jewel tones. The lights can be set to any color of your choice, allowing a matched palette for centerpieces, linens, or brand colors. Because we see busiest months in Jun, Oct and Dec, clients often plan palettes for wedding receptions and holiday parties.
Keep in mind that wall color, drapes and lighting angles influence how a hue reads; the same LED color can look warmer or cooler depending on surrounding fabrics and paint. We work with you to test samples in the space when possible so final color choices match your expectations rather than relying on memory or phone photos.
