What the package includes
Bay Area Beats DJs' Ceremony Package provides one speaker on a stand and wireless microphones—a lapel and a handheld—so your officiant and speakers are heard. The setup is intentionally small and discreet to avoid intruding on photos. The package price starts at $600+, and the equipment is chosen to deliver clear audio while remaining visually unobtrusive during your vows and readings.
After booking we provide a planning sheet to collect your ceremony music choices, timing, and special announcements. That document lets us program transitions and prepare cueing so spoken parts and processions happen on schedule. Clients have noted that having this sheet made them rethink timing and song choices, and it helps our team anticipate cues without extra on-the-day direction.
Setup that stays out of view
The single-speaker configuration is deliberately compact so it can be tucked behind florals, columns, or off to the side where it won’t block sightlines. Reviewers described the setup as sleek and blended, which reflects our approach: position gear for even coverage while keeping the visual focus on the couple. This minimizes distractions in portraits and candid photos.
There is a trade-off between invisibility and acoustic coverage: a single discreet speaker suits most intimate indoor ceremonies, but very large lawns or amphitheaters may need a different plan. If your venue layout or guest count suggests broader coverage, tell us during planning so we can recommend appropriate alternatives or coordinate timing to reduce the need for additional gear.
Microphones and ceremony cues
The package includes a wireless lapel microphone and a handheld microphone to cover officiants, readers, and vow exchanges. Lapel mics keep hands free for officiants and are subtle; handheld mics work well for readings or when speakers prefer to hold a mic. Using both gives flexibility for different ceremony formats without adding visible racks or bulky stands.
Our DJs handle announcements and cues so transitions—processional, readings, pronouncement—run smoothly. Past clients highlighted that timely cues kept the ceremony moving and helped with photos and reception timing. We program and rehearse cues from your planning sheet so the on-site run-through requires minimal direction, which reduces stress and keeps everyone on the same schedule.
When to add this package
The Ceremony Package sells especially quickly in June, September, and October, which are Bay Area peak months for wedding ceremonies. Because demand rises in those months, we advise booking early once your venue date is confirmed. Early booking secures both the speaker setup and the planning sheet delivery so you can finalize music choices and timing well ahead of the event.
Before the day, share your preferred speaker placement and any photo-plan concerns so we can position gear accordingly. We recommend providing the planning sheet to your photographer and planner to avoid surprises; this aligns with our discreet approach and helps the photographer capture unobstructed portraits while the audio stays clear during vows.
