How extensions are billed
Our additional hours are billed at $150 per additional hour and charged in one‑hour increments. Each extra hour is added to your event invoice and confirmed in writing. Because payment methods and timing are handled through your booking agreement, we’ll follow the payment terms already on file.
Requesting time during an event is straightforward: speak with the DJ or your event lead and we’ll confirm availability. Because Jun, Oct, and Dec regularly see longer celebrations, extensions are more likely then; we’ll communicate any staffing or scheduling constraints so you can decide quickly without disrupting the party.
What to expect musically
When you add hours the DJ continues the same approach you booked: taking requests, making announcements, and keeping the flow between songs and event cues. Past clients valued prompt, on‑point pacing and clear announcements; expect the same level of attention during extended time so your timeline and key moments stay on track.
Your planning sheet—provided after booking—helps us prioritize must‑play songs and preferred genres during any extension. If uplighting or other add‑ons were included in your original package, we can continue operating them through the extra hours; please flag those items early so the DJ can plan power and control needs.
Logistics and equipment needs
Our setup is designed to blend into the venue footprint so extra hours typically don’t require teardown or reinstallation. Reviews note a sleek, unobtrusive setup; that continuity reduces downtime between contracted and extended service, letting the DJ focus on the music instead of repeating staging tasks.
Extensions can interact with venue rules like curfews, sound limits, and staffing; confirm local restrictions with your venue before requesting extra time. We’ll amend your booking confirmation and any planning documents to reflect the added hours so both you and venue staff have a clear timeline to rely on.
